About Majordomo

Maintenance is the #1 Headache for Property Owners

Owning a home is exciting, can bring a lot of joy, and be a place to build memories for a lifetime. Owning a home is also a big responsibility where you are the chief steward – the majordomo – of the property’s maintenance and improvements. The #1 problem home owners told us was they don’t have the time or the know-how to maintain their house. Do these feelings sound familiar?

“There are a bunch of things I know should happen, and I feel like there’s things I should do that I don’t even know about!”

“I worry about these things at night.”

“I wish I was more confident.”

This confusion results in items decaying over time, which leads to increased stress and real value lost in your property. Furthermore, when you buy a house, any knowledge of the previous maintenance is lost and the new owner must start all over. All of this can be overwhelming.

How Majordomo Can Help

We believe home owners should be empowered to be responsible chief stewards – majordomos – of their home, their greatest investment. And we believe we can help. Majordomo provides you with a Domoscore so you can confidently raise the quality of your home: Know exactly what needs to be repaired, find professionals to help, and improve your neighborhood and community. No longer be overwhelmed.

Owning land and a home is an incredible opportunity, and a big responsibility. We’re focused on connecting you to your home resulting in a better home relationship and creating clear paths to better homes, higher values and improved communities.

Lee Eckroth

CEO

Lee recognized a few missing puzzle pieces in real estate transactions after spending 14+ years as a top producing real estate broker: the understanding of a propertys condition, the story of a property, why it matters, what to do next, and who to call to for help. As CEO, Lee oversees the company vision, manages sales and marketing, recruiting service providers onto the platform, and exploring business models.

"Figure out what's important, get help, and live life."

James Furlo

COO

James discovered real estate investing in 7th grade. After years of active investing he learned how difficult maintenance can be. How do you know what's important to repair? And once you know, how do you do it? He spent hours on YouTube figuring out how to replace a window and more time than he'd like to admit figuring out the best way to texture a wall. As COO, James uses many years of experience in marketing & quantitative analytics to direct product development to help others get clarity on the condition of their home. James also directs Majordomo's accounting and administration.

Matthew Furlo

Lead Backend Engineer

Matthew is more at home maintaining a database than maintaining a home. As the lead backend developer, he's helping build a platform to help people exactly like him: Someone who knows that taking care of your home is one of the most important things you can do, but who has no idea where to start. With years of experience developing software for online applications, he's excited to help bring Majordomo to every home owner.

Isaac Avery

Lead UX/UI Engineer

Isaac has always been passionate about home maintenance and improvement. As the son of a contractor and a former contractor himself, he had the opportunity to build, update and maintain many homes. Since discovering his affinity for programming, Isaac applies the same commitment to excellence in his software development. Majordomo provides Isaac with an opportunity to combine those passions. Isaac manages the Majordomo UI/UX implementation to provide a simple and informative interface between the home and owner.
